'The Rocky Horror Picture Show Musical'.

Aarhus Cathedral High School (Aarhus Katedralskole)

Assignment:
Make a poster to advertise the upcoming school musical performance of 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'. The poster was to hang in cafes and educational institutions.

Creative execution:
Inspired by classic circus posters i set out to make a poster that would reflect the gory nature of the musical. To my own and the musicals luck, the actor playing the main lead had a remarkable resemblance to the original star actor Tim Curry. This gave a brilliant opportunity to ape the classic look of Tim Curry, but to make an altogether different poster. The result was a happy circus poster gone horribly wrong - which was exactly the point.

The final poster was an A2 print in an edition of 100.
